Constellations

Constellations are formed of bright stars which appear close to each other on the sky, but are really far apart in space. The shapes you see all depend on your point of view. Many societies saw patterns among the stars with gods and goddesses or stories from  several cultures.

Most of the constellations with which we are familiar come from ancient Greece. But other civilizations created their own patterns in the sky based on stories and people that were important to them.

The constellations are totally imaginary things that poets, farmers and astronomers have made up over the past 6,000 years (and probably even more!). The real purpose for the constellations is to help us tell which stars are which, nothing more. On a really dark night, you can see about 1000 to 1500 stars. Trying to tell which is which is hard. The constellations help by breaking up the sky into more managable bits. They are used as mnemonics, or memory aids. For example, if you spot three bright stars in a row in the winter evening, you might realize, "Oh! That's part of Orion!" Suddenly, the rest of the constellation falls into place and you can declare: "There's Betelgeuse in Orion's left shoulder and Rigel is his foot." And once you recognize Orion, you can remember that Orion's Hunting Dogs are always nearby. Then you might recognize the two bright stars in the upper and lower left of the photograph as Procyon in Canis Minor and Sirius in Canis Major, respectively.

I like the greek mytology , the mystique animales , history , monsters, heroes, culture and the goddesses  and all this things we can see  in the constellations .

Vertebrates and invertebrates

There are many different types of animals in the world. Many animals are quite similar to each other. Others are quite different. Animals can be classified based on their similarities. Continue on, and learn more about your fellow Earth inhabitants.

My homework about my two topics.

1.Mammals

Mammals are vertebrates. The y live on theirs mothers milk when young.
Most mammals are born from their mother's womb. Young mammals stay with their mother until they lea en to take care ok themselves.
Analogys

An analogy is a comparison of two pairs of words that have the same relationship. Analogies are typically express  with colons.

Animals oviparous and viviparous

The animals that are oviparous they are animals that lay eggs, with little or no other embryonic development within the mother. This is the reproductive method of most fish, amphibians, reptiles, all birds, the monotremes, and most insects, some molluscs and arachnids.                                                     vivipaous vivipary has two different meanings. In animals, it means development of the embryo inside the body of the mother, eventually leading to live birth, as opposed to laying eggs.                          DGM

VERTEBRATES AND INVERTEBRATES

Invertebrates are animal species that do not possess or develop a vertebral column, derived from the notochord. Familiar examples of invertebrates include insects, worms, clams, crabs, octopuses, snails, and starfish.

Vertebrates are animalsthat are members of the subphyla.Vertebrates include the overwhelming majority of the phylumChordata, with currently about 64,000species described.Vertebrates include the jawless fish and the jawed vertebrates, which includes thecartilaginous fish (sharks and rays) and the bony fish.

Bloque III Ciencias naturales

Conoce sobre: el estado de la materia.

1. ¿ En qué estado físico está el agua?
Líquido💧.
