SUSTAINABILITY

As part of a schoolwide project we have been reflecting about our environment. We saw the video of Severn Cullis Suzuki www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPx5r35Aymc to start our reflection on how human beings are damaging the world and why nobody seams to do anything.

After that we define SUSTAINABILITY as the careful use of the resources in order to have them in the future. With that in mind we work in small groups to suggest actions to have a sustainable school and we write and represent short plays to show that actions.

When people is talking about sustainability some persons may think this is the matter of big companies and governamental policies but we have learned that we can make a big change even if we are kids.

JULIO GABRIEL VERNE.- fue un escritor francés de novelas de aventuras.Predijo con gran exactitud en sus relatos fantásticos la aparición de algunos de los productos generados por el avance tecnológico del siglo xx.

Los alumnos investigan algunas de sus obras literarias para leer la que más le llame la atención

Los alumnos leen un libro y elaboran la portada del libro que estan leyendo como:
20 000 Leguas de viaje submarino, De la tierra a la luna, Un capitan de 15 años,Viaje al centro de la Tierra, Alrededor de la Tierra. La vuelta al mundo en 80 días, Cinco semanas en globo, Los hijos del capitán Grant, La isla misteriosa, El faro del fin del mundo, El volcan de oro.

THANKSGIVING

The spirit behind this holiday is to thank god for all the goodness around us as the pilgrims did when they celebrated the first Thanksgiving day.

In this project we will see a video about the journey the pilgrims made and the challenges they had to face when they arrived to their new home. After seeing it we will write our toughts using the next frame:

App Revolucionaria

Today we studied "The Mexican Revolution", Mr. Cabrera a history expert, came to our classroom and share with us his knowledge about the time line of Mexican History through the use of IPADS, (App Revolucionaria) We shared our ideas, and worked together having fun and incorporating knew data to our previos knowledge.

Here we are sharing our class and some "Mexican History" about the Revolution who was celebrated last 20th of November. 

El día de hoy recibimos una visita del Sr.Omar Cabrera experto en Historia de México. Nos enseño una aplicación de historia de México "app revolucionaria" que se encuentra disponible en App store. Para hacer esto posible, se analizaron los conocimientos previos de los alumnos con una linea del tiempo . Visiten este enlace para ver como lograron con éxito desarrollar la linea del tiempo.

Los alumnos se divirtieron y aprendieron muchos datos que no conocían , compartieron opiniones y se interesaron por conocer un poco mas de la historia de nuestro país.
