PROJECT: I KNOW AND ACCEPT MYSELF

THEME:     Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)

GROUP: 5th grade

DATE:  December 18th to 19th, 2017

Session: 1 (Monday )  

THEME: New vocabulary  words.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el energetizador  ), Spell three words, Copy Homework.

 CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts
KiVa lesson 2 In a Group

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Numbers
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.
 Describes the process of identify emotions.
Uses a goal-setting process.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): A pressure indicator scale on their notebook .
ACTIVITIES: 1.In pairs talk about what is a pressure indicator scale. (15min.)
2. On your notebook draw a pressure indicator. (10min.)
3. The scale is 1- I don´t mind. I do what I like. 10- Absolutely impossible to resist the pressure (10min)
4. Post in Facebook your work. (10min.)
5. Rehearse Christmas plays. (15min.)

6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 17 one time. ( decide, return, choose, walk, forget, swim, change, touch ) (10min.) 
7. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.)
 
8. Write the homework on homework section. (10 min)

THEME: Reading Comprehension, new vocabulary words

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el energetizador ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

 
CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts

 SUBAREA
Reading Comprehension
Writing and representing

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym (el energetizador ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids listen to the story. “ The Train Set “ by Pat Hitchin ( 2 min. ) 
3. Compare it with another story, TV program  or movie and illustrate it using the iPad . ( 20 min. )
4. Share your work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Rehearse Christmas plays. (15min.)
6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 17 one time.( talk, explain, show, tell, feel, need, travel ) ( 10 min. )
7. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
8. Write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
