PROJECT: I KNOW AND ACCEPT MYSELF

THEME:     Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)

GROUP:   5th grade

DATE: November 13th to 17th, 2017 

Session: 1 (Monday )  

THEME: New vocabulary  words.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym ( garabato doble ), Spell three words, Copy Homework.

 CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts
KiVa lesson 2  In a group

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Numbers
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.
 Describes the process of working in a group.
Uses a goal-setting process.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Answers on their notebook and illustration of different groups.
ACTIVITIES: 1.In pairs investigate what is a group. (15min.)
2. Write down what group do you belong to. (10min.)
3. Write what is similar or different of your group. (10min)
4. Take a sheet of paper and draw something about your group. (10min.)
5. Post in Facebook your work. (10min.)
6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 13 one time. ( castle, garden, wall, city, country  ) (10min.)  
7. Write the homework on homework section. (10 min

THEME: Reading Comprehension, new vocabulary words

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym ( garabato doble ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym (garabato doble ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids listen to the story. “ The House that Nobody Wanted” by Lilian Moore ( 2 min. )
3. Compare it with another story, TV program  or movie and illustrate it using the iPad . ( 20 min. )
4. Share your work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 13 one time.( farm, field, hill, desert, jungle ) ( 10 min. )
6. Write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
